Yup..talking abt lnt ies or my comp..i alwaz think didnt i make a mistake saying my comp...few things of ies I like very much and few things are thr also dat always will let u down if u think abt those... ADVANTAGES.. 1.always gud 2 join this comp if u think mujhe kuchh karke dikhana hai and if u r more inclined towards d real time development and playing wth controllers..and if u belong to comp/it branch and interested in s/w development u ll get 101th time better companies than lnt ies and u sud nt dare 2 make a mistake by joining lnt ies... 2.if u join as a fresher u ll get so many chances 2 learn..ll always cherish learning as a fresher. 3.emps here are very much down 2 earth and helpfull...even head of this unit is so down2earth..i salute this.. 4.almost all mangers are extremely potential and too gud as human beings in addition to their managing skills... 5.Job security..i ll rate 9 out of 10.. DISADVANTAGES 1.cls room training 4 freshers..i ll rate 3 out of 10...dey hv 2 improve in this section.. 2.Here the leaders are too bad as a part of team and so bad at leading dat u ll think i could hv managed d team far far better than dem if i would hv dat much technical awareness... 3.Facilities 2 emp...sud nt take those 2 my mouth...how rough and +ve thinker u may be u ll feel bad 4 d facilities u r getting being a part of MNC.. 4.package for freshers is too low..u ll never get such low sal being a part of gud comp.. 5.Here the policy is..provide oil 2 dem who already hv oil...who r going onsite dey ll b going only..others ll b getting pressures 4 d work...and sud nt speak of HRs and number of HRs are also very less.. 6.Who asks abt d work and who asks how well ur comp is if u r nt given credit 4 ur gud work...always clever at cheating emps wen it comes 2 salary and if u ask them abt the respect dey r giving in terms of sal for an emp's commitment 2wards work..dey ll approach u in such a manner saying d reasons dat u ll think,next time onwards if atall i ask money i hv 2 tell dat i k asking money for lnt ies fund... Hope they will improve soon on the demerits dey have and expecting a lot of changes and improvements in every field after getting murged wth another unit and converting 2 LNT IES...

Well, Talking about the positives - 1. Excellent Infrastructure. 2. Friendly Atmosphere to work, Thumbs Up for the Work Culture. 3. Lots to Learn. 4. Great for Laterals though. And rest all is downside...!! I mean - 1. Living in Bangalore, the salary is Meagre, Paltry. And it hurts when it doesn't come on time. 2. HR is irresponsive and irresponsible. Just plays the Blame Game...not worthy..not forgetting to mention...they fired the worthy ones.. 3. Worthless perks and appraisals 4. No Team Outings and Stress Buster Initiatives for employees. Kudos to HR. 5. Administration is hopeless. 6. Current Projects Undertaken are just Documentation Works. Even then we hope for a better future and believe to get better projects to do REAL work. Beware !!!

It is a good company for engineers in circuit branches. Not good if you are a core software engineer. You can get better jobs and pays elsewhere. If you want embedded experience, this is ideal choice for you. It sucks when it comes to HR and administration. They don't give a damn about you. They give out measly appraisals and have 3 months notice period if you resign. That is very frustrating. But work wise, you can either land in a goood project or some documentation tasks for some time. Rest everything is fine with L&T. If only they up the pay, give some facilities adn flexible timings, almost 90% people will never leave the company, but unfortunately now those 90% are leaving over a short period of time. Overall ideal if you are from Mysore, and want a long-term settled life.
