I wake up in the morning hoping that my work place is not locked out or shut down. I pray to god that I find my colleagues sitting where ever they used to sit. I am shocked and in great dilemma on what I do next. The job market too is chocked. It used to be a good company, nice work place esp for campus recruits. Salary was good and it was a good experience overall working at Satyam until this incident. Greed & mismanagement of a bunch of people not only brought this company down but also faith in Indian software industry is shaken. It is a wait and see.

This Company is not clear on the projects they have. The HR people are the more attitude people you can see here. Generally 2 or 3 years u can see a change ..but there are HR and othere people who are here from past 10 years to 15 years in the same campus. May they did not get the else where. but to cover they say satyam is too good. but after coming i have seen there is no much of discplain here. Only while joing they see 100 times every thing is legal so that at any point of time they can catch you. however I have seen people who dont have peoper degrees are working in HR as Unit Hrs for different domains. At the End of the Day I am ashamed of my self beig in such a high position reporting to these crooks .. Also one strange thing is If you asses them you can feel bad thta this kind of people are hiring u to work for this ccompany. i love and inspd satyam Raju CEO but des not know what is happening in HR . Once HR one lady just called in anger ..I was surprised before allocating the project. She is feeling as if she is freely giving the project from her pocket as assistant of ...no comments ... I want satyam to grow but first the HR managment they have to either outsource or fire them like how they fire others . Most of the HR people are from Hyderabad fake degrees.... also you are aware ..if the husbad is working ..obviously wife will be working! thats not strange but most of them come from a very sad background..so i feel being a very qualified and experienced person in the company point of view they have to fire some HR people who are like leaches ...and frame a new HRS with colors ..with better experience ... Most of the domains like JAVA / SAP/ testing etc are very much affected in hyderabad...

Their training is rated number 25 among the world but what is the use of the training if people are never put into projects in technologies they are trained in?

Not a good company for entry level people at all. After their 3 months of training freshers are kept on bench upto periods of 1year easy. They dont give u location preferences even when projects are available in the place of your preference even. HRs are very bad towards fresh graduates. Especially on bench freshers have no value in the company and they are treated without much respect. Salary is good but without any growth and proper experience, money has no value. Although they wont fire you in any circumstance i have seen people highly unsatisfied with their jobs. There also is lots of politics here and a person from the North side of India will find it really difficult to survive.

Its one of the best companies to work for. Mostly it takes care of the Entry level fresher who come thru on-campus/off-campus interviews. lateral entries are not taken care that much. Pay wise its ok. HR is very poor. They dont hear to the employees concerns. They doubt all the employees even for genuine reason. so much politics is involved for career growth. its not transparent. there is no option to choose a particular work location. if we want any location, we will be never considered for that even if there is any project available there.
