I worked here for 4 years. I was at this center for 1 month after which I was working at various onsite locations. But the departments I interected with at this center are very lousy... Sarkaari. Esp finance and HR. Just as an example, I haven't yet received my releaving letter after 3 months of my resignation. But I also saw that issues would be resolved but at their own pace. I believe there needs to be a high level overhaul for this company to grow. Overall its a genuine company but with some loose screws to tighten. They do have some good financial clients working for which would definetly increase your market value. But beware as some projects are really bad to get into..like support projects. All in all make sure you know what project you will be on before joining and keep a tab on you finance and HR issues

Worked in US for 2 1/2 years with the same company and everything was cool work wise. They have some fixed clients and the good part is you work for long term projects which helps you to settle well. But you have to compromise on salary. Not that its really bad but you should not compare their salary with some of the American company salaries. All in all I had a good experience with this company in US. I had to leave as the project I was working was going offshore. They need to do some aggressive marketing to grow even better.

I worked in Singapore for 2 years for Polaris Software and 1 and half years in Hyderabad. This is a great company to work with.It has given me tremendous uppertunity and scope to work in high end technology. The middle management of this company reallt care for the junior peers. Long live Polaris and Arun jain.

I worked with hyderabad centre as Sr. project manager, What this company lacks is proper management. Its total chaos at Sr. management( PD,EG Head, BSC Head and even CEO and COO). This is another satyam ( only on negative side cause Satyam was far beeter in management and at technologies).

Corruption is very high, which includes cheating employees, taxes, and even cheating the clients.

this is the worst company on the planet. Better to be without a job than join this company.

Adding shocking addendums to offer letter after joining. These addendums include agreements that you
will not take leaves and also that you will not move to a list of big brands in the IT industry after resigning from Polaris...these addendums are violating the basic right of an individual to pursue his career...Not giving notice period salaries to employees..lowest salary in the industry...most unprofessional workers who use filthy words like "I’ll beat you"..., false promises...fire during recession...no internet...orally changing policies like 3 months during probation and restricting their basic rights to pursue career....harassing employees to the extent of restricting their personal life...threatening every now and then that they would blacklist employees who leave the company soon...no flexibility at all, even if you dont have work u have to sit in the office and stare at the walls for 9 hours...they talk about ethics and policies and they themselves dont follow even the signed documents...they themselves dont follow the process....they downgrade package and designation of new joinees...they make an utter fool out of you if you are not aware of even the smallest thing....biggest cheaters on this planet.....they even promise some compensation and roll out new offer letters again which have less compensation....they promise you one location and throw you at another work location without even giving you one day breather time.....half people are on bench...they dont pay notice period salaries to employees...dont relieve employees even though they serve the entire notice until they find a replacement which is generally very difficult for them because of all the above mentioned negatives noone wants to join this bull shit company...some managers are so useless that they just give you the shortest deadline of the project without even giving knowledge transfer and requirements

for heavens sake dont join this company.....this is for your own good....

Polaris Financial Technologies (A good company to work)

    Hi,

According to me Polaris is REMARKABLE Company to work with. It's been 6 months i am associated with this company & BELIEVE me i am enjoying my work.

On what basis candidate trinket while they go for job change??
    1) Job profile
    2) Salary
    3) Work Culture
Above are three pointers on the basis of which candidate decide whether or not go ahead with the company? & other factor's you experience once you join' the company (Irrespective of any company)

Polaris is tremendously good on all the above points.

Now coming to the point, as I was reading so many comments about Polaris respect to salary, work culture, management etc etc. can anyone explain me why you have written all those –ve comments?? Have you ever asked this Q to yourself??

We Polaris never give any fake information in respect to salary, work culture etc. We always explain in & out about it. It is you who should know how to tackle situation @ work. It is you who should know how to calculate salary, it’s you who should know tax slab where your candidature fall (Everyone know about Tax slab). So many user has mentioned about we deduct tax. Are we doing anything wrong?? You should know tax slab about your candidature. If you yourself do not know about it then how could you blame us?? We hire you on some criterion & if in case you could not able to tackle situation @ work then i guess you are the right person to judge the overall situation.

See, i am not saying you are wrong & i am right or vice verse. The only issue i could see is, most of the people does not know how to calculate salary overall or what are the précis they look for hence request you to get the information & accordingly you could talk to HR @ the time of interview. Do all the exercises needed before going to the interview. If you would able to do that then there won’t be any issues from any end on any points like salary, job profile & work culture.

At the time of interview please get all the Q's answered from both the side then you will realize your decision is right. Never raise a Q on your own decision if you do so how could you blame others for the things not fulfilled??

Please understand, on this earth nothing is good or bad. It is you who decides bad & good according to your perception.

Last but not the least at the time of interview please get the clarity on all the mandatory points.

    Thanks
