long history of not paying employees and retracting funds once he learns they are leaving (if they leave on payday).
He will fire people just before payday so he doesnt have to pay them.
NY Post broke a story a few years back about a sexual harrassment lawsuit having do to with his wife and 'girlfriend.'
The WORST.
OSI happens to be a wonderful firm to work for that has grown year after year and run by one of the top professionals in the industry. Objective Solutions has been in business for over 25 years and directly deals with the top management of many bluechip multi-billion dollar firms, thus by joining, I was able to instantly get exposure and involved with that calibre relationship which is so very different than mostly any other search firm.
The President, Steve Warren Wolfe is extremely honest ethical and extremely talanted. The reviewer, ex-employee who ranked this firm within this site can only be one of two failures who would rather lie and blame others while they should be spending their time attempting to to make a success of their life by actually working. These malcontents were let go because they were divisive, lazy and just horrible people. One of these horrible souls, has both his brother and father serving time in jail. He had a business which was closed down because he refused paying the nurses on staff. The other one was a sick individual who is on the strongest medication possible for his anger management problems. If the President has a fault, it is to give too many an opportunity to grow their careers even if they come from questionable circumstances. He always believes that too many do not have this kind of chance to succeed and tries to provide this to those who otherwise might not have a chance to "make it". Some of those however tried to get back at him through this smear campaign which the internet provides a world stage for. One day, those who post such lies will not be able to as the same laws governing this sort of atrocity will not longer be possible without consequences.
Unfortunately, a few have taken advantage of Mr Warren Wolfe's good heart and after failing yet again within his environment decided to post these horrible and malicious lies about a sensational guy. It is particularly appaling as he spent his life doing good deeds and making great successes of so many. Shame on these gutter rats for trying to smear his good name in the mud! The company is very professional and the leadership is great!!
It's ironic that as of this moment, there are virtually no recruiters left at OSI besides Steve and his lackey Peter. Sure, there are one or two guys who coast by there, but otherwise, the place is empty. I think that speaks more to the first opinion than the second, which was obviously written by the owner, Steve Warren Wolfe who has a reputation as one of the biggest snakes in the recruitment business. Were Steve simply a recruiter, he'd be one of the best of all time, but his overwhelming greed and disrespect for his employees has doomed his business and rightfully so. Also, one of the ex-OSI recruiters that Steve accused of writing the negative review (nurses, family in jail, etc) is actually thriving at his current firm and they couldn't have been happier to have him. I know this because I spoke with several of the people, including the owner, about him and he has gotten nothing but the highest praise. The other guy he wrote about, well, Steve was right about him, that guy was a menace, but what's really ironic is that he was Steve's right hand man while working there, they went out to lunch together, were buddies in and out of the office, and this was AFTER the employee had been fired once for punching a hole through the office wall and embarrassing other recruiters in blogs and harassing them in the office.
Working for Steve at OSI drains the motivation out of a recruiter, no one wants to stay there, and everyone feels abused. Steve is not a good person, is not to be trusted, and working at OSI is a very bad idea.
Several times a year for about three years now, this one ex-employee, who obviously has an axe to grind with my firm and myself, emerges from the shadows to write horrible things about my firm. Here, he/she obviously feels comfortable spewing negative innuendoes and horrible lies without fact or qualification and I would like to finally like to respond;
With the animinity of the web you find a forum to act out with impunity; without reality of being challenged and can say anything you please without retribution. So you create your own reality to make your life feel better, perhaps more complete while degrading someone else's life that you know nothing about. Obviously you cannot be truly successful and certainly not happy withyour own life if you are compelled to spend so much time and energy degrading past employers of which we are one. Apparently, your time with our firm was not a good experience and my belief is that had you further evolved afterward, we would not have became the focus of your anger and visious attacks.
If you were happy with yourself, my company would have become an inconsequential footnote within your prosperous life. Yet, for several years now, you have spent considerable time attacking my company and me personally using this forum. If I am such a horrible individual, please call me directly and talk to me about it- don't hide- try to resolve whatever and get it off your chest in a professional way. Perhaps if we sat down and truly knew each other better we could resolve differences we may have had and you can finally move on with your life in a productive way. I hope that you spend your future focused on your greater health, success and happiness instead of using negative instances to bandage a wound and certainly wouldn't use a platform such as this to get even. I am willing to meet you anytime, any place and with whomever you want whenever you say. If not, stop wasting all your frenetic energy and time and concentrate on facing your own issues. I'm sure that anyone will tell you that you should try to fix what is broken in your own house before throwing rocks at another.
I had the misfortune of working for Steve in the early 1990's at his previosu firm for which he closed called the Summit group. As far as an owner and mentor to other recruiters and employees the words to best describe him are: Liar, Ego-maniac and morally inept seem to come to mind.
As a recruiter he is fantastic..I just don't know why he has employees because his strength is in recruiting..his weakness is having employees as his jealousy for their success kind of cancels the positives of him out.
Steve, do your self a favor and just work by yourself.
I was browsing the internet trying to find comments on a firm I was thinking of acquiring and while looking came across OSI which was a firm I worked for through the 90's and to 2006. I read the last comment and thought I could give a more balanced view of the owner and the firms that he operated.
The owner was perhaps the best overall businessman I have ever seen and an incredible recruiter. Like all very talanted, focused, successful people he was heads-down thinking, eating, sleeping and living his business. As a result of that effort he became very well known as the top recruiter in the industry. As he came from humble beginnings, he believed in hiring people from all walks of life and giving them opportunities to learn the business from the best. Unfortunately, many do not have his work ethic, focus or talent. indeed, many were just too lazy to truly succeed and that is where the rubber hit the road with the owner. He did not have a lot of patience for those who did not have their heart in it. Those are the ones who I am sure are writing their version of who the firm is/was and who the owner is/was. The fact that the last reviewer is still smarting after 15 years is evidence that his life didn't get much better over these years and unfortunate that they have to gripe about a failure that was certainly their of their own creation.
The owner went on to be a multi-millionaire and those who took the opportunity that he offered to learn what he generously provided also became millionaires- and we all owe it to his training and business sense. I went on to become a CEO of a multi-billion dollar distribution firm and I can honestly say the lessons I learned while at Objective Solutions are the reason I have achieved success. The poor guy who is still pining away, blaming the owner for their own misgivings should truly take a closerlook at why they have not progressed and try to learn from those who can help them rather than damn them
Objective Solutions International is the worst company ever. He is obviously lying below and I can tell you its not the case. They are not honest about their policies and I had to leave the job because of such dishonesties.
xxxxxxxxx. I learned a lot working @ Objective Solutions International. I learned more how not to act and treat people. However to his credit, I have a great work ethic to this day. I am still in the staffing business doing very well for myself. All the bs he notes below are mere figments of his imagination xxxxxxxxxxxx. I am actually sitting here grinning to the idea of xxxxxx sitting all by their lonesome trying to close deals, quite humorous. It is only a matter of time till someone like this gets unveiled to the public for what he really is, a piece of xxxxx.
Was just looking online to see how a buddy of mine was doing that I referred to Steve and came across some nasty comments made that seemed to reference me, I'd be the guy who was thriving at my current firm. I don't know who had the nerve to speak to the owner of my current firm, but please stay out of my life. You were probably a friend of mine there, but that does not give you the right to check up on me and contact people about me.
Anyhow, about Steve, he's a guy who knows what the hell he's doing. We had our ups, we had our downs, ultimately we parted ways and I think it says a lot that I'd send a friend who has all the potential in the world to work for him. Steve is incredible at the job, and I had the opportunity to learn more from him than I ever learned from anyone. The most important thing I learned there is how to fight for the best deal for the candidate, and for the recruiter. Steve taught me how to be relentless and it's made me more money than is tasteful to mention.
Steve pushes everyone who works for him, and that's his right, as he signs the checks on payday. If you aren't cut out to work in that environment, you'll realize it quickly. However, if you put in the time there and really listen to what's going on around you, you'll become a much stronger businessperson for your efforts.
